Eternal Spring

My second weekend in Bolivia.
We did a road trip to the City of eternal spring, Cochabamba. Cochabamba may be my favorite city in Bolivia. It’s the City of perfect weather through out the year and full of flowers.   Our point of this trip was just to have fun, enjoy the good company and visit my friends Roxana and Isis (and their little dog Tequila!), who hosted me for one night in their lovely little house. :)

We also visited the city/town of Quillacollo, next to Cochabamba. They say it's a town, un pueblo as they would say in spanish, but for me it seemed too big to be a town, although all the town facilities and buildings were very outdated, so I guess judging by that, you could say it's a town. Below you can see the little park - plaza central, local pharmacy, a typically dressed woman - una cholita reading the news paper and a local lawyer's office - abogado.

Bu the most interesting part of this trip was when we visited the town of Sacaba, known as one of the most passionated and active towns on Bolivian dance culture. And lucky for us, that day was the day of their little town festival. The streets were full of people, music and colors! It really reminded me of why I love this country, Bolivia's culture is unique!
